GEO Service Packages in Dubai — What You're Actually Paying For

Aakash Pareek reviewing AI search (GEO) citation results for a Dubai business

Half the agencies quoting you a GEO package this month didn't have a GEO page on their own site back in January.

Quick answer: GEO packages in Dubai currently range from AED 800 to AED 10,000+ a month depending on scope — basic audits and schema work at the low end, ongoing multi-platform citation building at the high end. GEO (getting your business cited inside AI-generated answers) works best layered on top of existing SEO, not sold as a replacement for it.

Every SEO agency in Dubai has a GEO package now. Prices run anywhere from AED 800 a month to AED 9,000, and I've compared quotes from two different agencies for what turned out to be the exact same three deliverables with different names on the invoice. GEO — Generative Engine Optimization, or getting your business mentioned inside ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews answers instead of just ranking for them in a list of links — has gone from a niche add-on to a line item on nearly every proposal in about a year.

I've built GEO into my own SEO work as standard since early this year, as part of Growth and Authority SEO. So I've watched this market form from inside it, not as someone trying to sell you a package cold. Here's what's actually being sold in Dubai right now, what should be in a real one, and where I'd be skeptical.

What GEO Actually Means (And Why the Terminology Is a Mess)

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization — content and structure built so AI tools cite your business when they generate an answer, rather than just linking to your website somewhere down a results page. You'll also see AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and AIO (AI Optimization) used for more or less the same thing, sometimes by the same agency on different pages of their own site. Andreessen Horowitz gets credit for popularising GEO as a term back in 2025. The industry still hasn't agreed on one name for it.

In practice, the label matters less than the agencies arguing about it would have you believe. What matters is whether your content is structured clearly enough, with strong enough entity signals, that an AI model reaches for it when assembling an answer in your category. That's the job, whatever word ends up on the invoice.

What GEO Packages Actually Cost in Dubai Right Now

I looked at pricing from several agencies actively selling GEO in Dubai this year, alongside my own numbers. The range is wide, and a good chunk of it comes down to whether GEO is genuinely custom work or a schema plugin with a new label on it.

TierTypical monthly costWhat's usually included
BasicAED 800 – 1,500AI visibility audit, basic schema markup, FAQ formatting on a handful of pages
StandardAED 1,800 – 3,500Broader content restructuring, entity/brand signal building, monthly citation tracking
AdvancedAED 3,500 – 6,000+Multi-platform citation building, competitor gap analysis, ongoing content production
EnterpriseAED 6,000 – 10,000+Custom scope, usually bundled with a full content and SEO team

Ranges gathered from Dubai-based GEO providers publishing pricing in 2026. A fair number list no pricing at all and route you straight to a call instead — which tells you something about how firm those numbers really are.

GEO isn't sold as a separate line item on my own SEO engagements — it's built into every SEO project as standard, not billed on top. See what's included in SEO Services →

SEO vs GEO vs AEO — What's the Actual Difference?

These three get thrown around like synonyms in most sales decks, and there's real overlap between them. But they're not chasing the same outcome, and mixing them up is how businesses end up paying twice for work that should've been one strategy.

One SEO workflow, built to also earn AI citations — not three separate processes

In practice, I don't run three separate strategies for a client. Every GEO package I've seen that skips the SEO foundation entirely is selling something thinner than it sounds — Google AI Overviews in particular pull heavily from pages already ranking in the top ten organic results. Get the SEO foundation and the answer-first content structure right, and AEO and GEO mostly fall out of the same work.

What Should Actually Be In a GEO Package

  • An AI visibility audit — checking whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews currently mention your business at all, and what they say when they do.
  • Entity and schema markup — Organization, FAQPage, and SpeakableSpecification schema that tells AI systems clearly what you are and what you offer.
  • Answer-first content restructuring — questions as headers, direct answers immediately after, no throat-clearing before the point.
  • Third-party mention building — citations happen more for brands referenced across independent sources, not just their own site. Directories, review platforms, and relevant publications all matter here.
  • Ongoing citation tracking — a monthly check of whether you're actually showing up, not a one-time audit dressed up as a retainer.

How to Choose a GEO Company in Dubai

Ask for one real example, not a slide of client logos. Be wary of any agency promising guaranteed inclusion in AI answers — nobody outside the AI labs controls exactly what gets cited. Ask directly whether GEO is separate from their SEO work or built on top of it, since GEO layered on a site with no organic authority to begin with is close to decoration. And if a pricing page says "Get Price Now" with zero detail on what's delivered, that usually means the package gets scoped after the sales call, not before it.

Proof, Not Promises

I'd rather point you to actual work than make claims here that are hard to verify from a blog post. You can see examples of campaigns and results across industries on my case studies page, and verify my Google Partner status directly on Google's own partner directory rather than taking a badge on a website at face value.

The Bottom Line

GEO in Dubai right now is a market still figuring out its own pricing. AED 800 and AED 9,000 can both be sold as a "GEO package" — for genuinely different scopes of work, or for the same three deliverables with different names on the invoice. Ask what's actually being tracked, ask whether it's built on an SEO foundation or standing alone, and treat any guarantee of AI citation as a reason to ask more questions, not fewer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do GEO packages cost in Dubai?

Dubai-based GEO providers currently price packages anywhere from AED 800 to AED 10,000+ a month depending on scope — basic audits and schema work at the low end, ongoing multi-platform citation building at the high end. On my own SEO engagements, GEO isn't billed as a separate package at all — it's built into the scope as standard.

Is GEO different from SEO, or just SEO with a new name?

They overlap heavily but aren't identical. SEO gets you ranked in Google's results list. GEO gets your business cited inside the AI-generated answer itself — ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews. GEO built on a weak or non-existent SEO foundation rarely produces consistent results, since AI Overviews in particular lean heavily on pages already ranking well organically.

Do I need a separate GEO package if I'm already paying for SEO?

Depends on the agency. GEO is included as standard within SEO engagements here — no separate line item. If your current SEO provider doesn't include it, ask directly rather than assuming, since "GEO included" means different things depending on who you ask.

What is AEO and how is it different from GEO?

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) targets being selected as the single direct answer — a featured snippet, a voice assistant reply, a Google AI Overview box. GEO targets being cited or mentioned within a longer, multi-source AI-generated response, like a ChatGPT or Perplexity answer pulling from several sites. They share the same groundwork, which is why most agencies bundle rather than sell them separately.

Do I need to optimize separately for SEO, AEO, and GEO in Dubai?

Not as three separate retainers. The groundwork overlaps heavily — clean technical SEO, clear entity signals, and content structured to answer questions directly serves all three. Where they diverge is the specific tracking and content formats layered on top, and that's worth scoping deliberately rather than paying for three vague packages doing the same job.

Can a GEO agency guarantee I'll show up in ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews?

No, and any agency claiming otherwise is worth a second look. No one outside the AI labs controls exactly what gets cited or when. A legitimate GEO package can meaningfully improve the likelihood through entity clarity, structured content, and third-party mentions — not promise a guaranteed outcome.

How long does GEO take to show results in Dubai?

Similar to SEO — 3 to 6 months for meaningful, consistent citation patterns, though a single mention can appear sooner if entity signals are already strong. Competitive categories in Dubai, like real estate, legal, healthcare and finance, tend to take longer, the same way they do for traditional rankings.

Is GEO worth it for a small business in Dubai?

It can be, but only after the SEO and Google Business Profile basics are in place. A small business with a thin, unranked website gains very little from AI-citation optimisation layered on top of nothing. For a business with a solid organic foundation already, GEO is a genuinely useful next step.
