I already wrote about Google Ads for real estate in Dubai, the fastest way to get in front of a buyer who's actively searching. This post covers the other half of the picture, the part most real estate agencies either skip entirely or hand to a generic SEO package that has no idea what "off-plan" or "ready" even means.
Real estate SEO in Dubai isn't harder than SEO for any other industry, it's just more specific. The content has to match property type and area, the local search behaviour is genuinely bilingual, and a chunk of the visibility fight happens in Google's map pack rather than the regular results. Here's what it costs, how it's different from running ads, and what to check before you hire someone.
What Real Estate SEO Actually Costs in Dubai
Retainers sit in the same general range as most specialist digital marketing services in the UAE: AED 2,000 to AED 8,000 or more a month. Real estate tends to land toward the higher end of that range, and there's a reason. A general services business might need SEO content for five or six pages, but a real estate agency covering off-plan, ready properties, and five or six different areas of Dubai needs content built around each of those combinations separately. More surface area, more work, higher cost.
What you shouldn't accept is a flat "SEO package" price with no reference to your actual property portfolio or target areas. A real estate SEO plan for a boutique agency selling in two neighbourhoods looks nothing like one for a developer marketing an entire off-plan tower.
SEO vs Google Ads for Real Estate — Different Jobs, Not a Choice
These get talked about like a decision you have to make. They're not competing for the same job.
| What you're evaluating | Google Ads | SEO |
|---|---|---|
| Speed to first lead | Day 1 | 3–6 months |
| Cost behaviour | Ongoing spend, stops when you stop paying | Builds, keeps working without new spend |
| Control over targeting | Precise — area, property type, buyer intent | Broader, shaped by what people search |
| Best for | Immediate pipeline, off-plan launches | Long-term visibility, lower cost per lead over time |
| Realistic approach | Run both — Google Ads while the SEO builds underneath it | |
Most of my real estate clients run both channels at once. Google Ads keeps the pipeline moving today. SEO is what your cost-per-lead looks like in a year, once you're not paying AED 40 to 80 a click for every visitor.
How to Choose a Real Estate SEO Company in Dubai
Ask if they've worked with property listings before, not just "local businesses" in general. Real estate SEO has its own content structure and its own schema requirements, and someone coming from a generic local-SEO background will build you a generic local-SEO site with property photos on it. Ask how they handle a genuinely bilingual market too, since a plan built only around English search behaviour misses a real chunk of Dubai's buyer pool. And ask for one specific example from a property business, not a slide of client logos.
Google Business Profile — The Part Most Agencies Get Wrong
Property searches are heavily local. Someone searching "real estate agency Dubai Marina" is often looking at the map pack before they ever click through to a website, and a poorly optimised Google Business Profile means you're invisible there no matter how well your site ranks organically. I see this skipped constantly. It doesn't feel like "real" SEO work, it's just a listing, not a blog post. In a market this local it's often worth more than the blog post is.
Why Schema Markup Actually Matters Here
Schema markup is structured data added to a page that tells Google exactly what it's looking at: a listing, a price range, an FAQ, a review. For real estate specifically, this is what allows a property listing or a service page to show up with extra detail directly in the search results, rather than as a plain blue link competing with everyone else's plain blue link. I use FAQ and article schema across my own site for exactly this reason. It's not theoretical, it's a small technical decision that changes how a page competes.
Proof, Not Promises
I'd rather point you to actual work than make claims here that are hard to verify from a blog post. You can see examples of campaigns and results across industries (including real estate) on my case studies page, and verify my Google Partner status directly on Google's own partner directory rather than taking a badge on a website at face value.
The Bottom Line
If your only real estate marketing channel right now is Google Ads, SEO is the piece that changes your cost per lead a year from now instead of every month from now. It's slower to show up and it costs money to do properly, but it's the one channel that doesn't stop working the day you stop paying for it.
